Account Ownership

Who owns your Practiso account

Understanding account ownership is important, especially if you're using Practiso for your coaching business.

Account Ownership Principle

Accounts are owned by the individual who signed up for the service. When you create a Practiso account, you are the account owner and have full control over your account and all data within it.

Your Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You should keep your login credentials secure and not share them with others.
  • You are responsible for obtaining proper consent from your clients before storing their data in Practiso.

Your Client's Data

When you store client information in Practiso:

  • You remain the data controller for your clients' data under GDPR.
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to process their data.
  • You should have appropriate agreements in place with your clients regarding data handling.
  • Your clients can request access to, correction of, or deletion of their data through you.

Account Transfer

If you need to transfer account ownership (for example, when selling your coaching business):

  • Contact us at support@practiso.io to initiate a transfer.
  • Both current and new owners must confirm the transfer.
  • Ensure you have appropriate agreements in place for the transfer of client data.

Account Deletion

As the account owner, you have the right to delete your account at any time:

  • Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
  • All data, including client information, will be permanently deleted.
  • You should export any data you need before requesting deletion.
  • Deletion is completed within 30 days from active systems and 60 days from backups.
